I recently watched a talk by Esther Gokhale as I was asked what my thoughts on her methods were and I was unfamiliar with the concepts. In this post I won’t be discussing her methods but I will be discussing her basic premise on which she bases these methods. In the talk she claimed that low back pain prevalence in the Republic of Chad was 5% and Thailand 7%. They are really, really low rates. I was stunned.
I tend to agree with the Steele, muscle atrophy/imbalance is the the predominate factor in Lower back pain. This is especially evident in Western Culture with sedentary work force and excessive calorie consumption.
